Munshi ("the App") is a transport billing application developed by Dagar. This policy explains how we handle your data.
The App stores all business data (vehicles, clients, locations, slips, invoices, settings) locally on your device. No data is collected or sent to any server unless you explicitly use the optional Cloud Backup feature.
The App requests camera access solely to photograph Delivery Challans for AI-based field extraction (OCR). Photos are sent to our server for processing and are not stored after extraction is complete. Camera use is entirely optional.
If you choose to register and use Cloud Backup, your business data is transmitted to our server over an encrypted connection and stored securely. This data is only accessible using your device token and is not shared with any third party.
The OCR feature uses the Google Gemini API to process challan images. Images are sent to Google's servers for analysis. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Local data remains on your device until you delete it. Cloud backups are retained on our server and can be deleted upon request.
The App is not intended for use by children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
